From design to specifications, here's everything we know about the Apple iPhone 14

Although it may appear that the iPhone 13 was only released last week, rumors and leaks must continue. The internet is already filled with leaks and conjecture regarding the iPhone 14, and it appears like we may be in for something spectacular in 2022 – both in terms of appearance and specifications.

The iPhone 13 was a very minor advance over the 12, with a narrower notch and a slightly larger battery — and nothing else. However, with groundbreaking camera technology and considerable design upgrades, Apple appears that the iPhone 14 will more than makeup for its predecessor's underwhelming debut. Don't want to wait until 2022 to find out what's in store? Check out the finest early Apple discounts available right now.

Design of the iPhone 14

The notch has been the subject of some of the most outlandish design rumors. The notch, long regarded as a blight on the iPhone's ostensibly all-screen design, is one of the most contentious design elements. However, if many rumors are correct, Apple may eventually abandon the notch in favor of a punch-hole camera. However, this may be confined to the two 'Pro' variants.

And it's not only the front of the phone that's getting a makeover. The iPhone 14 may be the first to use a titanium body, which provides a lighter but more robust body that is more resistant to scratches and corrosion. Only select Apple Watch versions are now available in titanium — the iPhone 13 Pro is only available in stainless steel.

However, if you like little phones, you could be out of luck in 2022. Rumors say that Apple is preparing to discontinue the iPhone 14 small following the dismal sales of the iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini. But if you enjoy huge phones, you could be in luck — right now, only the Pro Max series is available in 6.7-inch sizes, but word has it that the normal 14 will be available in the same size as well.

Of course, there are a plethora of fantastical ideas floating around the internet. This sliding iPhone 14 design may be the craziest graphic we've seen so far – but there's no evidence that Apple is working on sliding screen technology. But, hey, who knows? Fan-created concepts have been known to come true, such as this iPad mini concept, which is now a very real thing.
